Ministry to Children
We are blessed with an excellent children’s ministry at The Life Centre. The children enjoy coming along to Children's Church each week, and the leaders are dedicated to helping the children develop their own personal relationship with their Heavenly Father. KIDS ON THE RISE (6 – 12yrs) and KINGDOM KIDZ (2 - 5yrs) is a place where the children feel loved, accepted and can grow in God and have fun all at the same time! It brings such satisfaction to see our children developing and flourishing in life; having an inner strength and confidence to face real life challenges.
KINGDOM KIDZ
Kingdom Kidz uses a faith curriculum that is designed to appeal to the age group of 2 -5yrs old. The curriculum has a weekly theme that flows on from the previous week and lays a basic foundation of faith in God. We emphasis the main theme of God is Good and that He keeps His promises in the Word of God. Even at an early age we build a confidence that God loves them. Each  week we bring encouragement to the children and show them the love of God in practical ways. At the end of each session they receive a take home sheet that gets the rest of the family involved in what they have learned during their lesson in Kingdom Kidz.
KIDS ON THE RISE
Kids on the Rise uses an Australian based, faith curriculum that is designed to appeal to a media savvy generation. The OK curriculum has a weekly theme that flows on from the previous week and builds on the foundation of faith. It is designed for TV so is bright and fast-paced, with actions songs, drama, teaching and worship that all build around the central theme. However the pace slows down after the main teaching and time of worship when the children split up into small groups called ‘Connect Groups.’ This is where they review what they have learned, ask questions, share how it applies to their life and get involved in helping the others in their group to understand the central theme.
